The National Cocoon Silk Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (Shandong) successfully passed the on-site acceptance organized by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine from May 31 to June 1, 2011.
A team of four experts from the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine conducted a detailed on-site inspection of the technical capabilities, team building, scientific research capabilities, operational status, influence and authority, local government support, and overall situation of the National Cocoon Silk Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (Shandong). Through on-site review of relevant documents, blind sample testing, personnel on-site assessment, and discussions, the expert group unanimously agreed that the laboratory construction, equipment procurement, talent introduction, and scientific research project planning of the National Cocoon Silk Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (Shandong) have all been completed, with advantages and characteristics in technology, scientific research, and cocoon silk business development. Its comprehensive capabilities have reached the advanced level in China, and it is recommended to pass the on-site acceptance.
After passing the acceptance inspection, the National Cocoon Silk Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (Shandong) will actively carry out its work, fully leverage the advantages of the center's technology, personnel, equipment, and scientific research, and make due contributions to the development of the local and national cocoon silk industry.
